Captain Logan Jones
He was born to fish - Raised on salt, wind, tide, and grit.
From the wild rivers of Southern Oregon to the towering peaks surrounding Resurrection Bay, Captain Logan Jones has never lived far from adventure. His passion for fishing took root early, floating down the Rogue River with his stepdad, Randy Wells, chasing steelhead and learning the kind of patience only moving water can teach.
In 2013, Randy invited Logan to deckhand for a single summer in Seward. That was all it took. One season turned into a calling, and Logan knew these waters were where he belonged. As soon as he was old enough, he earned his captain’s license, quickly becoming one of the youngest charter captains ever to run trips out of Seward.
Now, with 13+ years on deck and a decade at the helm, Logan has built a reputation for adventure, skill, and an instinctive understanding of Alaska’s rugged coastline. Whether you’re battling halibut in the deep or chasing silver salmon near the surface, he’s the kind of captain who gets you on the fish and makes the journey just as unforgettable as the catch.
